Cooking Tip
Trim Excess Fat
To really remove excess fat from ground pork, place the crumbled cooked pork in a strainer and rinse under cold water. Alternately, you can place the ground pork in paper towels and squeeze out the excess pork fat.

Cooking Tip
Over Cooked Pork
Overcooked pork becomes dry and tough. Cooking to 160 F. results in clear or slightly pink juices and provides pork that is juicy and tender.
