Crockpot Teriyaki Pork Roast

Asian style teriyaki sauce and pork roast slow cooked until pork is tender.
Ingredients -
3-4 pound Pork Roast
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Fresh Ginger, chopped finely
2 Garlic Cloves, whole peeled
1 (12 ounce) can Apple Juice Concentrate
 
Preparation:

1. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, fresh ginger, garlic cloves, and apple juice concentrate to small bowl. Stir to combine.

2. Transfer half the sauce to crockpot.

3. Place roast in crock pot.

4. Pour remaining sauce over pork roast.

5. Cook on LOW 6-8 hours.

Allow Space When Cooking
Leave ample space between pork chops, when cooking. The space allows the chops to brown and cook evenly.

Never Re-Use Marinades
Never re-use marinades that meats are marinated in, unless they are boiled for several minutes, while stirring constantly. A better alternative is to set aside some unused marinade, or make some extra and use that as a sauce.
