Italian Pork Roast

Easy pork roast recipe. Seasoned with Italian dressing and baked with potatoes until cooked through and tender.
Ingredients -
2 pound Boneless Pork Roast
3 tablespoons Dry Italian Seasoning
4 Potatoes, cut into wedges
1/4 cup Italian Salad Dressing
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Press Italian seasoning into surface of pork roast.

3. Place roast in roasting pan.

4. Bake 30 minutes.

5. Add potato wedges and Italian dressing to bowl. Toss to coat.

6. Add potatoes to roasting pan.

7. Return to oven for 30 minutes.

8. Remove and allow roast to rest 10 minutes before slicing.

A sharp knife ensures cleaner cuts and makes trimming fat off chops and roasts considerably easier.

Cut Through The Fat
Leave a strip of fat around thick cut pork chops for extra flavor. Using a sharp knife, cut through the fat to the meat in several places so the pork does not curl during cooking.
